Summer Fun for the Kids for Free/Cheap!

Free Movies from Reagal Cinemas:
These are second run movies and usually start in the morning, but free isn't bad for a flick.

AMC Movies for $1 (goes to charity):

Rewards for Reading: Since all of the following are rewards for reading, you can enter the same books on each log and take them to the respective places. In other words, read one book and put it on multiple lists.

TD Bank $10 for reading 10 books:
http://www.tdbank.com/summerreading/ The way this one works is that the $10 will be deposited into a new or existing child's account. My closest TD Bank is 40 miles away, but happens to be in the same town as my mom. So I will plan to open up 3 accounts this summer on a visit to my Mom's house. I would imagine they do this every summer, so I will keep the account open for next summer too.

Scholastic Summer Reading Challenge:
Free Books for Kids at Borders (when they participate in their reading program):

Free Book at Barnes & Noble:

Fun at the Local Library:
This you will have to check for yourself, but our library always has great things, like magic and comedy shows, wildlife and bug fun, reading programs for prizes, and more. Check it out at your library. Here are some highlights that Samuel's Public Library in Front Royal is having this summer (please check with the library for age restrictions):
